Hello all (specifically looking at you friends and family that subscribe to the emails and look at all our posts) this one is for you!

Hailey and Steph will be taking a break from posting during the fall season each year. This may be just a couple of week in October some years; however, this year we are BUSY and it may be anywhere between 1-2 months.

Hailey Update

Hailey bought a house! Her and her husband are busy in renovations, getting permits, and trying to stay sane while working full time jobs and renovating. Sadly, since she is living her best and most busy life, she won’t be able to write blog posts regularly for the foreseeable future. She may come back to join us again in winter when stuff slows down, but until then, you are stuck with only Steph.

Steph Update

Steph, on the other hand has had a very busy summer, and is in need of some down time with no responsibilities. In between studying for her professional engineering exam, she is trying to enjoy her time and be mentally and physically health (boring, I know). With fall being her favorite season, it seems like the perfect time to take a hiatus to avoid overworking herself.

Also, 2025 has been a super difficult year for anyone who keeps up with US politics/politics in general/has a heart. The Shits Not That Difficult team has been trying their best, but we are fatigued by it all and a break is good for everyone.

If you feel the need to send hate mail, send it to Hailey, she will be too busy to read it anyways.
