Hopefully it is pretty self- explanatory, but today I will show you how I roast a spaghetti squash.
I love collecting spaghetti squash in the fall when it is fresh and storing it in the pantry for the winter. Any winter squashes are so underrated in my opinion. They add such a freshness into the cold months and they are just so easy to make too.
This recipe takes around 45 minutes.
Ingredients
- Spaghetti Squash
- Salt, pepper, oil
Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 400°
- Cut the spaghetti squash in half
- Get rid of all the seeds/gunk inside the spaghetti squash
- Put knife marks/fork marks into the rind of the spaghetti
- Heat distributes more evenly in my opinion
- Oil, salt + pepper the inside of the spaghetti squash
- Cook the squash with the inside facing down
- Bake for 35-45 minutes until you are able to fork up the inside of the spaghetti squash

This is perfect with a marinara, meatballs, roasted veggies, etc. You pick your poison and it will taste fantastic.
